Evangelina Holvino, Ed.D.

Evangelina Holvino is President of Chaos Management, Ltd., a consulting, training, and research partnership specializing in collaborative approaches to organization and social change. She is also an Affiliate Faculty at the Center for Gender in Organizations at the Simmons School of Management. Evangelina has over thirty years of experience as a consultant and educator both in the United States and internationally. She designs and facilitates change interventions in four areas: global diversity and capacity building strategies; large group planning and problem solving meetings; conflict management and collaborating across differences; and career and leadership development for Hispanics and women of color in organizations. Some of her past clients include Banco Popular de Puerto Rico, Kraft Foods, Lucent Technologies, TJX Companies, J.P. Morgan Chase, Verizon, the University of Vermont Diversity and Equity Unit, the Carnegie Corporation, and the World Bank.

Dr. Holvino received her doctorate degree in organization development from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst and has taught at the School for International Training and at the American University/NTL Master’s Program in Human Resource Management. Her current research and writing focus on the simultaneity of race, ethnicity, gender, and class, and the opportunities and challenges these differences create in organizations. Dr. Holvino is an engaging speaker bringing institutional insights in the areas of her expertise. She is a 2005 recipient of the Anna Maria Arias award for Latina entrepreneurship and currently serves on the Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Council of Novartis and the editorial advisory board of the Diversity Factor. She is a member and previously served on the board of directors of the Boston Center of the A.K. Rice Institute and the NTL Institute for Applied Behavioral Sciences.
